In an effort to expedite pending cases, a Fourth Additional Subordinate Court was inaugurated at the Combined Court Complex here on Friday. R. Sakthivel, Principal District Judge, inaugurated it.According to court officials, K. Krishnapriya, who was the judge of Third Additional Subordinate Court, was posted as the judge of Fourth Additional Subordinate Court.“This court will help reduce of pendency of cases and ensure speedy trials,” the officials said.Nearly 300 cases have been transferred from the Third Additional Subordinate Court to the Fourth Additional Subordinate Court. Hearings on the cases began on Friday, the officials added.
