To clear rush ahead of Ayudha Puja, the Coimbatore Division of Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) announced operation of 1,312 special buses from October 4.According to a release issued on Wednesday, a total of 165 buses will leave from Coimbatore on October 4 - 33 to Madurai, 39 to Tiruchi, 26 to Theni and 67 to Salem. From Tiruppur, one bus will leave for Chennai, 22 buses to Madurai, 17 to Tiruchi, six to Theni and 25 to Salem. From Erode, six buses will leave for Chennai on October 4.On October 5, a total of 290 buses will leave from Coimbatore - 83 buses to Madurai, 79 to Tiruchi, 51 to Theni and 77 to Salem. From Tiruppur, 40 buses will ply to Madurai, 33 to Tiruchi, 12 to Theni and 35 to Salem. From Erode, three buses will leave for Chennai, the release adds.A total of 95 buses will leave from Coimbatore on October 6 to Madurai, Tiruchi, Theni and Salem. From Tiruppur, a total of 56 buses will leave for Madurai, Tiruchi, Theni and Salem.With October 7 being a holiday, October 8 and 9 will see a total of 170 buses and 160 buses leaving from Coimbatore respectively. One bus from Tiruppur will leave for Chennai on October 7.A total of 269 and 227 buses will leave from Tiruppur on October 8 and 9 respectively to Madurai, Tiruchi, Theni and Salem, according to the release.
