Priyanka Arul Mohan, who shot to fame with Nani's Tollywood flick Gang Leader, will be making her Tamil debut with a Sivakarthikeyan film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, who gave the hit film Kolamavu Kokila.It is said Siva had suggested that Priyanka do the film. Both Siva and Nelson are good friends from Vijay TV days and when Nelson was looking out for a homely heroine fluent in Tamil, Siva, who had seen Priyanka’s films, felt she would be apt and proposed her name. The actress’ mother is a Kannadiga and father a Tamilian and Priyanka is well versed in both the languages.Siva had clarified that his banner is not producing this film. He is busy now with Mithran’s Hero and is resuming his sci-fi thriller with Ravikumar. There’s yet another film with Vignesh Shivan.
